Library
The library acts as a central agency for meeting
the information requirements of the department. The functions of the library
include collection, organization and dissemination of information. It has
built up a balanced land-rich collection of the valuable books, doctoral
these, back volumes of periodicals, technical reports, conference, proceedings,
and patents. Documents on Science and Technology subjects constitute a
major share of its collections. It subscribes to a large number of Indian
and Foreign journals, including indexing and abstracting periodicals. The
library provides computerized information services too.
